Liver Hepatocellular carcinoma The specimen is a malignant tumor of hepatocyte. The cut surface shows a grayish brown mass. The margin of the mass is well-circumscribed with fibrous capsule around the mass. The cut surface of mass shows greenish-discoloration of tissue with hemorrhagic spots and focal necrosis. The liver outside the mass show mild focal fibrosis.
