Kidney pyelonephritis hydronephrosis Kidney become smaller than normal. Cross sectional tissue shows a dilatation of renal pelvis & calyes (hydronephrosis) caused by renal obstruction and leading to have thinning of renal cortex. The serosal part found irregular surface and depressed scar formation caused by fibrosis (chronic inflammation).
